MySafe:LA joined Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, Council District 11 member Traci Park, the Los Angeles City Fire Department, and Los Angeles Police Department for a robust gathering of the annual Brentwood Homeowner’s Association in West Los Angeles. The annual event was attended by approximately 250 area residents, and a number of important topics related to public safety in Brentwood were featured.
The MySafe:LA effort to support Brentwood with becoming a California Fire Safe Council, as well as an NFPA Firewise USA site was featured in the presentation. Los Angeles Fire’s Operations West Bureau Deputy Chief Richard Fields spoke to the audience and reinforced the importance of wildfire prevention and the work being conducted jointly by MySafe:LA and the LAFD.
