MySafe:LA has been retained by The Hartford Foundation to produce the support film materials for the organization’s annual Junior Fire Marshal national presentation, conducted during National Fire Prevention Week in October.
The film includes an introduction and conclusion presentation from Los Angeles City Fire Chief Kristen Crowley, and a tour of LAFD Fire Station 84. Chief Crowley appeared at Fire Station 84, along with members of Engine 84 and the LAFD’s Crew 3 wildfire volunteers.
Last year, the Hartford’s Junior Fire Marshal national presentation was viewed by more than 50,000 third-grade students across the United States. That film also featured film content produced by MySafe:LA, but featuring the Glendale Fire Department.
MySafe:LA’s film unit is headed up by Director and co-founder Cameron Barrett, who has extensive experience in journalism, both as a creator and professor at the university level. The MySafe:LA film unit has been recognized with nearly 100 awards for outstanding work in film production.
