• Must have a current EMT NREMT Card (CA Card may be accepted).
• Having a FF1 certification is a bonus.
• Must meet all insurance requirements which include a valid driver’s license with a good driving record, criminal record clearance, etc.
• Must be capable of lifting/transferring up to 60 lbs.
• Must be capable of using technology tools, including a laptop computer.
• Previous experience in patient care setting a plus.
• Must be able to walk for extensive periods of time.
• Must be able to comprehend and communicate in English.
• Interact with families and other agencies in person and over the phone.
• Ability to administer prescribed treatments.
• Ability to perform CPR (have a valid, current AHA or ARC CPR Responder Card).
• Past experience as a firefighter cadet is a bonus, but not required.
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A PHYSICAL EXAM AND TB SCREENING.
