Social Media Manager Contractor

Description

The social media manager will assist our Communications Team implementing the organization’s Social Media messaging. The person in this position will support developing brand awareness, generating followers and curating creative content. The Social Media intern should be someone who is a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills, have experience and a passion for designing and implementing content strategy, creating relevant content, and blogging. We are looking for someone who lives in the Los Angeles area, is creative, readily accessible, has strong writing skills, an extensive knowledge of social media and has a solid understanding of confidentiality. This is a contractor PAID position.

Essential Functions:

  • Monitor and post on blogs, forums, and social networks
  • Online outreach and promotion using Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and more
  • Website and social media optimization
  • Curate creative content for social media and blog
  • Stay up to date on new platforms
  • Be able to post content following a defined schedule
  • Be able to respond to live activities, posting relevant information

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Facebook, Tic Tok, Twitter, Instagram, Vimeo, and YouTube
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent understanding of iOS, iPadOS, and Android operating systems
  • Knowledge about popular phones, tablets, and related hardware
  • Intermediate abilities using Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar apps

Minimum Position Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree
